J. Carver Distillery is hosting two of New Orleans finest professional musicians in a "house-concert" style performance on Sunday, May 19th from 2-4pm.

Funky, roots, jazz-inflected and FUN, the duo is fresh off last week's French Quarter Fest performance and in town for a limited tour.

Debbie Davis has been a professional since the age of two, is a fixture in the NOLA jazz scene, has recorded with Soul Asylum, The Pfister Sisters, John Boutte and many more, and was nominated for Best Female Vocalist of 2010 by Offbeat Magazine. Josh Paxton is a top New Orleans pianist. Rolling Stones says "After two decades together, Davis and Paxton fit together like peas and carrots, and while they have the simpatico that lies at the heart of any long-term successful partnership, they also leave you with the sense that you've heard two distinct and extraordinary solo statements."
