Opening soon: Waconia's first craft distiller, J. Carver Distillery
Waconia's first craft distillery is ready to make its public debut.
J. Carver Distillery said Monday that tastings and tours of its 17,000-square-foot facility (perviously a Pontiac auto dealership) start June 6.
J. Carver completed the $3 million distillery in August and released its first vodka and gin in October.
“After over six months of operations and hard work, our team is so happy to finally be open for tours and tastings and being part of the hospitality tourism scene in Waconia,” founding partner Gina Holman said in a news release. “We look forward to sharing our story with visitors from near and far, including our grain-to-glass approach to distilling.”
Tours cost $10 per person and can be booked online.
